I finally got around to making a Blog about web design and blogging, not that I'm an expert on either subject but I'm always running across useful things such as icons, design tutorials, useful javascript and tips n tricks.
Here are a few post:
it is done. I have finally, after months I have managed to finish a site that actually works. It's supposed to look like a "web 2.0" ripoff. I had problems with the CSS when I started a site from the ground up so today I decided to us an original template that came with TAMB and edit it and thats what the site is. If your curios check it out at
sneakatron.co.nr . I have fixed a problem with permalinks.
Well I got my site up and running now. It's located at sneakatron.co.nr. The Blog is at sneakatron.co.nr/blog.php
well my blog files for my site got corrupted (including the backup). Oh, well it gives me a chance to redesign my site (again). I don't know why but I am never happy with anything I do. Oh, well. I haven't blogged lately because I have sort of given up on the whole news thing, after all I was just posting stuff that was already seen on other professional sites like digg, techcrunch and dvorak.org/blog. Well it's back to the drawing board for me.
I have found a social networking site that is so close to to myspace is scares me. The difference is it easier to use and you can customize your page without having to play around with HTML. I have an account and I have have used more than my myspace account (and i have had that for over two years) if you don't like myspace then give citybity.com a try, yes sure the name isn't that great but once you look at the site you will see it is a better alternitive to myspace. check out my profile (still needs a lot bit of tweaking)
If you want the latest news from the keynote that apple is giving today go to http://macrumorslive.com and you will be able to get updates as it happens and you don't have to refresh the page it will refresh itself and you won't notice because it is using some type of ajax.
Gonna go watch commandN now
SpiralFrog is a new online music destination, offering ad-supported legal downloads of audio and video content licensed from the catalogs of the world’s major and independent record labels.
Sounds cool right. Again we see the old Hicup of DRM come into play. Theres not much about this DRM yet because the service hasn't been released yet. We will have to wait to the fall.
Some features:
Thanks to TechcrunchSpiral Frog will offer a desktop downloader for Windows Media Files (no iPods!) that can be listened to on one PC and two portable devices. Here’s the kicker - you must log in to the Spiral Frog service at least once per month, and see their ads, or your files will stop playing! The details aren’t fully set in stone, but it will be something like that. There will be links to third party sites of the record labels’ choosing if you’d like to buy your freedom to at least skip the ads.
Spiral Frog will also offer far more than just music, but also video and other digital content. The selling point here is that users will be able to access media legally, without the malware, bad network connections and pirate’s shame that comes from other online media sources
