Yes, again I have found that you can run games on a mac, this time it's using cider but using crossover mac. It seems really neat and runs great. Obviously I haven't ran it but i haven't got a mac so how could I. Don't believe me, well heres the proof. Oh and don't think that it's a little slow loading counterstrike it's steam and I know how slow that is : )
Empires is a mod (total conversion) of Halflife 2. It's a mod I have been playing for a while and I love it. As you will see from the video It's a multiplayer game and It combines two types of gaming. The first type is RTS or real time strategy, this is the commander mode. There are only two commanders in the whole game but you can switch with other players. The second type of gaming is what halflife is known for, FTP or First Person Shooter. In this mode you choose a class and help your team by doing a number of things e.g. repairing buildings, destroying enemy artillery and killing enemy infantry. There so much more to know about the mod so watch the video then check the links out.

Yes, soon there will be an add-on for Nintendo's latest portable gaming platform (the DS). This add-on will allow the DS to be an MP3 player. This will make the DS not only a gaming platform, a webrowser but an music playing device too. Whats next video (doubt it) if so then it will almost have as much gizmos as the PSP. Anyway here are the specs for the add-on:
- For Nintendo DS (to be inserted into slot 2) and Game Boy Advance hardware
- To store music you need SD cards. Up to 2 GB cards are supported, this equals to 500 songs (best sound quality)
- Choose between different skins (including one with Mario)
- The interface shows all important information
- The unit itself features another headphone port
Well that's about it for now. Thanks to Gizmodo
Remember I talked about Cider, well maybe you won't need it if you just want play starCraft because a video has poped up on youtube of a guy who is running a touch screen and playing starCraft on Linux using Wine!
I know someone who says there isn't any good movies based on video games. Well I'm about to prove him wrong. I would like to show you PACMAN the movie. Yes, you read right i said Pacman the movie. It looks so good I can't wait. The graphics are great, the story doesn't have a flaw, the acting is superb and it even includes mrs. pacman. Heres a taster.
Heh, I saw this video on you tube. It's quite funny for those gamers out there.
Wow soon the smug windows users will not be so smug. Hopefully we will see gaming on a mac without having to run parelells or boot camp and the games will not have to be ported.
"Cider games will run as if they were made for Mac OS X"
with cider, Mac users' long wait for Mac OS X-native games is a thing of the past- Mac users will be able to run cider-enhanced windows games simultaneously or nearly simultaneously with there counterparts, said Gupta.
I have to note that it will be only INTEL macs that will be able to run Cider games.
Check out the whole article here
(note: I don't and never have had a Mac)

The Game
The game is set on the russian front between 1941-1945. It is a first person shooter (FPS) multiplayer game that lets players choose from 28 infantary wepons or 14 fully-ralized vehicles. Fighting in role based squads, players engage in battles across more than one dozen maps based on real-world locations.
How to get
To get the game you must:
2. create an acount (if you don't have one)
3. Play the game
I saw a video of a "portal" which features a wepon that was supposed to be in half life episode 2. It looks a though it probally will be turned into a game of it's own. It looks pretty cool.
