Yes, soon there will be an add-on for Nintendo's latest portable gaming platform (the DS). This add-on will allow the DS to be an MP3 player. This will make the DS not only a gaming platform, a webrowser but an music playing device too. Whats next video (doubt it) if so then it will almost have as much gizmos as the PSP. Anyway here are the specs for the add-on:
- For Nintendo DS (to be inserted into slot 2) and Game Boy Advance hardware
- To store music you need SD cards. Up to 2 GB cards are supported, this equals to 500 songs (best sound quality)
- Choose between different skins (including one with Mario)
- The interface shows all important information
- The unit itself features another headphone port
Well that's about it for now. Thanks to Gizmodo

Apple insider has reported that apple had filed a patent on for a touch screen on an iPod or hand held device. The patent was filed on September 30, 2005 but was published yesterday. The patent was titled as "proximity detector in a hand held device" this points towards the idea of having an iPod that can sense when an object such as a finger is approaching. There are many possibilities what this patent could mean but many suspect that this patent will be used in the creation of a new iPod.
